LOCATION: The port is located between Ambarli and Salipazari ports that distance apprx.12 km from port. Zeyport shall reduce the intense in the Salipazari considerably. The fact that the part of marine traffic was transferred to Zeyport shall relieve the traffic congestion in the Salipazari port a great deal. At the beginning Zeyport is planned to serve to suitcase trade of Laleli market, out of which 90% is carried out of both Salipazari and zeytinburnu area. ýn additional to preventing loss of jobs and exchange currencies, it shall allow new facilities and new markets to the created.
RESTRICTIONS: Ships carring hazardous cargoes are not allowed to enter the port.
ANCHORAGE AREAS: please see "Anchorage Areas" in Turkish Straits & Istanbul region (Information on best location of anchorage will be given by Pilot station).
PILOTAGE: is compulsory for berthing and unberthing and anchoring, provided by the Turkish Maritime Organization.(TDI) .VHF channels 14, 16. .
TOWAGE: and/or mooring boat compulsory arranged by pilot and and provided by the Port Administration (TDI).
BERTHING: There are five quays that for all vessels up to 4.000 dwt. Ability to serve 10 vessels. Depth of 6.5 meters, Quay No. 1,2,3 and length 100 m. width 15 m.Quay No.5 length 200m. and there is one Ro-Ro ramp.
CARGO HANDLING EQUIPMENTS: Mostly vessels gear.
STORAGE: Total harbour area 40.000 sq.m.
FRESH WATER: available by barge.
BUNKER: available by barge only.
AIRPORT: At Istanbul distance apprx. 14 km from the port.
WORKING HOURS: operates 24 hours a day year round, Administrative: 08.00-17.30hrs.
GARBAGE REMOVAL: service is available.
