MAIN ACTIVITY: The Terminal, as a whole, is a bonded warehouse for bulk and dry chemicals spread on 25 acres at the Izmit Bay shore of the Marmara Sea. Bonded warehouse for bulk liquid and dry chemicals. We serve our customers for loading, unloading, storing, automatic drumming, blending, and automatic line blending for fuel-oil and gas-oil, also laboratory testing for quality control.
RESTRICTIONS: Mooring is carried out during daylight only, Unmooring is carried out around the clock.
MAX. DRAFT: 12 m for jetty no.2, 2.6 m for jetty B west side and 10 m for dolphin D3.
ANCHORAGE AREAS: please see "Gulf of Izmit" (Information on best location of anchorage will be given by Pilot station)
PILOTAGE: : is compulsory in the Gulf of Izmit from Darica to the port and for berthing and unberthing and anchoring, provided by the Dekas Pilot.VHF channels 12, 16.
TOWAGE: and/or mooring boat compulsory arranged by pilot and and provided by the the Med-Marine.
STORAGE AREAS: 142 mild steel storage tanks (coated, uncoated ; heated, unheated) in different capacities from 108 m3 to 4300 m3.
CAPACITY: For bulk chemicals 120.000 m3, for dry and drumming chemicals; 1.530 m3.
LOADING AND UNLOADING: 2 ship docks for the vessels up to 50.000 DWT. Capability of unloading 5 vessels of 5.000 DWT. each at the same time. 34 dedicated, 1 general and 7 stainless steel shore lines ranging from 4" to 8" for vessel discharge. Capability of unloading 42 different chemicals at the same time. Dedicated tank discharge lines to truck loading stations. 41 tank truck loading stations. 5 automated loading stations for acrylates. 4 fully automated loading stations for TDI, Phosphoric Acid and LSFO. Loading and unloading capability of containers, trailers, trucks for drummed and dry chemicals. 2 ship docks for the vessels up to 170 m length and 10 m draft, 34 dedicated and 1 general, 7 stainless steel shore lines from 4" to 8" vessels to discharge. (disch.pressure;6-7.5 bar) Rate; 200/250 metric tons/hour 10 lines /4-6".
BENDING SYSTEM: Terminal is equipped with 3 different blenders. One of these blenders, having two tanks of 3.5 m³ each are used for oil blending. The other two blenders are used for on - line blending purposes of petroleum products and solvents.

FRESH WATER: available by barge only.
BUNKER: available by barge only.
AIRPORT: At Istanbul distance apprx. 83 km from the port.

GARBAGE REMOVAL: service is available by barge.
LIQUID WASTE REMOVAL: 1 tanks of 200 cbm. A 50 m³ biological reactor for domestic and industrial waste water treatment.( Distillation units for pre-washes. 140 m³ tank for the pre-washes of the products explained in Annex 2 category A of the 73/78 Marpol Rules.)
DEVELOPMENTS: Construction of new storage tanks having a total capacity of 6.000 m³. Upgrading of the fire fighting equipment on the Jetties. Upgrading of the drumming units Installation of 44 new radar level/temperature gauges. Automation of tank farm operations.
