LOCATION: The Private Terminal is located in position Lat. 40° 46' 10" N, Long. 29° 32' 35" E
MAIN ACTIVITY: Clean petroleum products terminal-gas oil, gasoline (PG, RG, UNL) kerosene. Storage blending and upgrading of clean products. Lube oil production. The terminal does not handle any third party cargoes.
ANCHORAGE AREAS: please see "Gulf of Izmit" (Information on best location of anchorage will be given by Pilot station)
PILOTAGE: is compulsory in the Gulf of Izmit from Darica to the port and for berthing and unberthing and anchoring, provided by the Dekas Pilot.VHF channels 12, 16.
TOWAGE: and/or mooring boat compulsory arranged by pilot and and provided by the the Med-Marine.
BERTHING: Outer Berth; Max.40.000dwt., no LOA/width restriction Max.15m. draft. Inner Berth; Max. 5.000 dwt., Max. 10m. draft. Max.LOA 90m.
CARGO HANDLING FACILITIES: The pipeline from the shore terminal is 700m. long. There are 4 pipe lines (1x6 inc., 2x10inc ,and 1x 14inc) for all products for loading and discharging cargoes. weigh-bridge 1x60tons
LOADING/DISCHARGING: Clean petroleum products are handled at the terminal. They are gas oil, gasoline (premium, regular, unleaded) and kerosene. The maximum allowed pressure on the shore pipe line for all products is 150 p.s.i. Vessels discharging at the platform are expected to obtain a minimum of 100 p.s.i. at the ship's rail. At this pressure, the discharge rate would be apprx. 1.300 cu.m/hr. and the loading rate for products is for gas oil 700cu.m./hr. and for gasoline 900 cu.m./hr.
STORAGE TANKS: The following storage tanks are located at the terminal ashore; Foreign cargoes; 1x22.000cu.m.and 2x20.500cu.m., 4x5.250cu.m. Domestic cargoes; 6x950cu.m. and 1x5.250cu.m. Some tanks are provided with International Jet Mixers. All product tanks are equipped with fire fighting system and all shore tanks are as per API standards. Lube oil system; 2x60 cu.m., 2x50cu.m. base oil tanks, 1x10cu.m. and 1x5cu.m blending tanks, 2x10cu.m product tanks.
FRESH WATER: available by barge.
BUNKER: available by barge only.
AIRPORT: At Istanbul distance apprx. 90 km from the port.
WORKING HOURS: operates 24 hours a day year round.
GARBAGE REMOVAL: service is not available.
WASTE OIL DISPOSAL: available .There are 2x300 m3 fixed roof.
